Our Story

MANA de Albuquerque is an all-volunteer driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to creating a community of informed and active Latinas working together to support the success of all Latinos. MANA de Albuquerque has been serving Latinas in our community since 1985.

MANA de Albuquerque is a chapter of MANA, a National Latina Organization founded in 1974 and headquartered in Washington D.C. The Albuquerque chapter is part of a national network of Latinas throughout the U.S. who value service, advocacy and leadership development. MANA de Albuquerque was established in 1985 as a volunteer women’s organization whose goal is to assist Latinas in achieving their full potential personally and professionally while serving their community. MANA de Albuquerque provides a resource and support system for members, enabling them to increase their personal and professional leadership skills while developing their special interests in service and advocacy for their community. MANA’s membership includes Latina women of varied interests, careers and lifestyles who support our mission to empower Latinas through leadership development, community service and advocacy.
